The pulse oximeter measures oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and pulse and also displays pulse amplitude. Braun describes blood oxygen levels as an important indicator of respiratory health.

The finger clip provides quick, non-invasive measurement without complicated settings. The compact design also makes the pulse oximeter convenient to store or take with you.
Braun specifies the model for adults over 18 and mentions, among others, users monitoring their oxygen levels and athletes who want to track their readings.

The backlit display shows the readings in large numbers. The viewing direction can be changed so that the result can be read from different angles.

Open the finger clip and place your finger fully inside the device according to the instructions for use. Keep your hand and finger still during the measurement and read the SpO₂ and pulse on the display.
For a reliable reading, the finger should be clean and have adequate blood circulation. Movement, cold hands, poor peripheral circulation, and nail polish or artificial nails can affect the measurement result. These precautions are also stated in Braun's pulse oximeter instructions.
